The versatility of her voice has led to a singing career of unusual scope: she has recorded soundtracks for film and BBC-documentaries such as Galapagos and A History of Scotland, premiered contemporary music by Michael Nyman, Pascal Zavaro, Craig Armstrong and the late Sir John Tavener.
Her oratorio performances include Orff's Carmina Burana, Brahms' Requiem, Mozart's Requiem and C Minor Mass and on the opera stage she has sung Violetta in Verdi's Traviata with Regents Opera, Grilletta in The Chemist by Haydn, The Fire and the Nightingale in Ravel's L'Enfant et Les Sortilèges for the New Tel Aviv Opera, Queen of the Night in Mozart's Magic Flute on the Glyndebourne Opera stage, contemporary operas by Luciano Berio and Azio Corghi at La Scala in Milan and Le Châtelet and Peter Eötvös' Angels in America at the Barbican.
