1. This is the first music video i directed waaaaay back in 2006. It was sort of inspired by the Aha video 'Take On Me' where the comic book is alive.

I animated everything in photoshop using traditional animation techniques. Sequenced it in Final Cut Pro, then discovered After Effects, where i made my first shoddy attempts at motion tracking and compositing. All of these post techniques and software were new to me at the time. I learned them to complete my vision.

This video is approaching 2 million views on youtube, and has won many film festival and music video competitions. It also got the band signed, and started me on my path as a director.

  2. A music video i did a while back for Maldroid. This one is all stop motion animation on a Lite Brite. I did this back in late 2006, and I'm pretty sure I'm the first person to animate on a lite brite.

This video was featured on YouTube back in 2007, and has almost 2 million views. It's also won a decent amount of awards. Not bad for an experiment made in my bathroom...

  3. Road To Nowhere is inspired by Green Day's song "East Jesus Nowhere".

Its 1932- The Devil comes to a ramshackle town to peddle sin and vice, and the people must find the strength to resist temptation.

We first heard the song on May 15th when 21st Century Breakdown was released. 36 days later, we shot the film in Columbia, CA on June 20th and 21st. For us this was an exercise in creativity that was inspired by an amazing song. Wether you love it or you hate it, your opinion is appreciated. Thanks...
