This tutorial goes through the basics of creating your own custom nel channels. There are so many uses for this but in this example I show you how to create a custom channel based on the intersection of two objects and then use it to control both velocity and viscosity. This is the same basic principle of how I created my heat setup (vimeo.com/43727857) but it's just the tip of the iceberg. In this tutorial I demonstrate how to get a visual representation of your noise field using three different methods. You can also apply what you learn in this tutorial to visualize all kinds of fields.
This isn't a tutorial but rather a short overview of what I did to make the wave that I uploaded previously. It shows the geometry I built and the basic fundamentals of how it works. Other things are taking priority right now but I still hope to simulate a higher amount of particles and render it out one day.
