The Soweto Gospel Choir was formed to celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music. The 26-strong choir, under the direction of David Mulovhedzi and Beverly Bryer, draws on the best talent from the many churches in and around Soweto. The choir is dedicated to sharing the joy of faith through music with audiences around the world.
This Soweto Gospel Choir film was captured in Concord, NH at the Capital Center for the Arts. The event was filmed with three cameras - two stationary and one mobile. Audio was captured live from the mixing board with a Zoom H4n.
The film and promotional trailer were filmed by Ron Risman and Elizabeth Harvey. Edited by Ron Risman. Shot using the Canon EOS 5D Mark II and EOS 7D along with a Canon camcorder for static wide shots.
This is a short 4 minute trailer for a film I worked on this week leading up to the Jumper Classic. The story is focused on 17 year old Equestrian rider, Victoria Birdsall, as she shares her love of horses and for the sport of horse jumping.
The footage for this trailer was captured by cinematographers Ron Risman and Matt Stapleton, while the final film will also include footage from Bryan Powers, who filmed the Grand Prix event with me.
