Short film created in April 2012 for the 2nd Ads Competition under the leitmotiv "Stand up against AIDS".
Focusing on the various prejudices associated with VIH I created "AIDS Stains":
each one of the ink drops represents one of those prejudices related with AIDS ill persons (irresponsability, promiscuity, sickness, drug addiction, homosexuality... ), their dignity is represented by the paper sheet, which gets constantly stained by intolerant people.
This simple but metaphorical idea gains strenght as it is depicted powerfully with easy but high contrasted elements: black ink and white paper. Music also is meant to create an sullen and oppressive athmosphere which helps us to consider our own prejudices over AIDS.
An audiovisual meditation on life, fate, the forces of gravity and how to break free from all the weight ... not really, this is nothing more than some pretty visuals. Filmed on the Red Epic with EF lenses, graded in DaVinci Resolve, edited with the Adobe Creative Suite. We hope you'll have as much fun watching as we had creating.

This is my newest Northern light video from Norway (8 to 19. February 2013). This time around we were near Alta in Finnmark. There we had a cabin in Kviby from which we started our day trips. In those days we had a lot of aurora activity. It is always fascinating to see these dancing lights, even better if you can share it with someone you love.
The temperature wasn’t as cold then last year. Normally it was around -10°C (14F). Only for one shot it was -25°C (-13F) and again I had a frozen lens… like every year…
