Freshman Frame & Sequence is an NYU course that focuses on the art of the frame. Essentially it's a photography sequencing class or photo slideshow class. We have three substantial projects over the course of the semester, Experimental, Documentary and Narrative. The assignment for experimental was take at least 30 images and create a sequence that utilizes experimental techniques but has an identifiable thread. The thread in my piece is city vs. nature. I wanted to convey the weight of a city like New York and how it's essential to find a balance through art and nature.
