1. This clip is raw from Camera E-8 on the launch umbilical tower/mobile launch program of Apollo 11, July 16, 1969. If you like out videos, an amount in the tip jar helps us make more.

This is an HD transfer from the 16mm original. Even more excellent footage is available on our DVDs at our website at spacecraftfilms.com

The camera is running at 500 fps, making the total clip of over 8 minutes represent just 30 seconds of actual time. Narration is provided by Mark Gray (me), Executive Producer for Spacecraft Films.

  3. The Detroit Airport has a colorful light tunnel connecting the A concourse with B/C. It's actually a bit overwhelming at times, when the lights are flashing rapidly and the music blaring. This is a quick video from within that light tunnel.

The video was captured with an HF100 set to full res, FXP, at 60i. It was quickly edited in Final Cut Express with some slight color correction. There's some audio clipping in the beginning -- I'm not sure why, but it's Final Cut's problem, not the camera (or mp3).

Music is m83: Midnight Souls Still Remain
