St Moritz Match Race held on lake St Moritz, famous during the winter months for hosting ice polo matches once again saw spectacular alpine racing. The Blu26 provided the 12 teams with challenging racing in a variety of conditions. Semi finalists Philippe Presti (FRA), Adam Minoprio (NZL), Torvar Mirsky (AUS), Ian Williams (GBR) battled it out for the 'King of the Mountain' trophy.
The Danish Open returned to its roots in 2009. Aarhus is where match racing began in Denmark and welcomed the Tour with open arms. Run by the Royal Danish Yacht Club and Aarhus Events using the KDY'd 6 DS37, 12 teams took part starting with a round robin followed by a jump straight to semi finals. Peter Gilmour, Jes Gram Hansen, Torvar Mirsky and Mattias Rahm battled for the final honours.
