    Creative Expression Program
While many schools have abandoned the arts as part of educational enrichment, APCH fills the gap and provides cultural art programs to at-risk youth in the form of Music, Dance and Fine Arts.

    The Dance Academy
exposes youth to professional cultural and academy dance forms with key elements of instruction around focus, discipline and expression.

    Creative Expression Program - Dance
Classes are offered throughout the week in 45 minute sessions in tap, ballet, jazz, modern, yoga Capoeira, Krumpin', Hip-hop, Salsa and Karate.

The program offers a variety of dance for all levels and gives advanced dancers performance opportunities.

    The Music program
exposes kids to the history, theory and creation of music through music appreciation and instrumentation classes. APCH is honored to be part of the Berklee City Music Program from Berklee College in Boston, utilizing the proven Berklee PULSE technique to teach our youth. As part of this program, APCH youth learn theory, instrumentation and studio engineering. Once prepared with a level of performance, they are able to reveal their musical talents showcasing throughout Los Angeles. Our talented musicians have opened for the Black Eyed Peas, performed with the Isley Brothers and much more. Come down and watch these kids unleash their talents or pick up a CD from the APCH store and be amazed!

exposes youth to drawing, painting, photography, drama, film, graphics and fashion design. Youth participating in the fine arts program learn skills that allow them to apply artistic talents to today's advanced technological marketplace.

In 2007, APCH youth entered their first film project in the Bresee Film Festival and garnered 4th place prize. Shortly after they wrote and produced a grant presentation to get digital equipment installed in the Center. Their expertly learned skills allowed them to win a $15,000 grant to purchase computers for the digital lab. Our future aspirations include building a complete digital inclusion studio for MacIntosh Certification.
