1. This one minute shot was filmed at the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn, New York. I set out with the 1 Minute Vimeo Project in mind. A barge is slowly moving up the canal hauling gravel while in the background three giant cranes work tirelessly piling scrap metal into massive heaps. As I drove home I listened to NPR and a segment about the $150 million dollar cleanup of this area was airing. Funny.

    The patina of the container is beautiful out of context. The brief moments when the verticals of side of the container disappear and the black bars frame the colors helped my decision in picking the exact 60 seconds.

  5. One minute of transdimensional pretension.

    This is a comedy.

    All video and audio is totally live. Achieved by filming my TV while the camera was plugged in. A common simple effect I presume. I'm not sure why liquidy shapes are flying towards the screen tho.
