What to do in NYC? Tough question as there's loads to do and see. Kaplan surveyed 355 of their students aged between 18 and 59 from 39 countries and asked them what they love to do. Here's 8 things they came back with.

Alongside Art & graft, I've animated and comped this piece for BBC business. Showing how everything is connected globally.
I really loved working on this project because I had a lot freedom on this when it came to creating the animation-style. Throughout 2013 I've designed and animated a lot of UI graphic, and I really think this piece really stood out having a very cool style of design.

Commissioned by Grey Canada, Johnny Kelly has created Clothing’, ‘Food’ and ‘Shelter’ for The Salvation Army for their 2013 Christmas Campaign. Each ad sees coins dropped into The Salvation Army kettle, making the initial darker scenes transform into optimistic scenarios.
Created using stop motion animation, the beautifully-rigged characters and worlds highlight just a few coins can help change people’s lives, take people off the street and give them food, clothing and shelter.
There is a stark contrast between the ‘before’ and ‘after’ scenes, and to make the transitions feel as immediate and straightforward as possible, the team used quick lighting changes, immediately shifting the colour from cold nighttime to warm daylight.

Sevenly was built upon the idea that “People Matter”. This includes everyone from the people that benefit from the money we raise, to the people that support the charities, to the people that keep Sevenly moving. This is the first film in a new series called, “Sevenly People”. The series will focus on individual team members, who they are and what they do. The first in this series is of Nick Jacobs, the buyer.
Nick has a very simple yet profound quality about himself, which is his ability to recognize the possibility in every situation, whether it’s doing laundry at the laundromat or losing a job. That quality coupled with his natural craving for adventure has taken him across the world. If you ever have the opportunity to cross Nick’s path, make sure to treat him to a coffee and ask him to tell you the tale of how he went from shopping for a used washing machine and ended up on a hippie reservation.
After interviewing Nick, we realized there was a lot of amazing things he said that didn’t make it into the video. So we transcribed some of those excerpts, beginning with his decision to travel the world after leaving his job of 10 years.
