Some moving real world images from the 1908 Wollensak Cine-Velostigmat f5 lens.
This is a mix of natural lighting, cine style lighting, hand held, the Kessler Pocket dolley and tripod work. Much of this was shot to see what this lens can do in real conditions, and where its strengths and weaknesses are. What it adds, what it loses is in my opinion what makes this glass unique. This motion test is a precursor to an upcoming film project. enjoy....
Special thanks to Kessler for proving equipment support, Bhavani lee for being an amazing performer, Thomas wong for editing the hell out of this, and to Khalid Mohtaseb for providing me with additional equipment.
I wanted to make a video of London while I was there in 2008 but I didn't have any camcorder, so I took pictures instead. In fact I took more then 3000 pictures and put them all together in less then 2 minutes.

Conceived, shot, edited, mixed and uploaded within an afternoon.
Here's a new movie from me. Starring me and me. Don't expect a story just a little experimentation.
I felt like shooting something and couldn't decide and no one will be my actor so I turned the camera on myself again.
Shot with Canon 7D 17-55 EF-S, ISO 640, f.2.8, 24 fps, 30mm. The fire is just some really crap quality fire I ripped off of youtube that I composited in. It worked ok since I blurred it out to make it look like DOF. The sound effects help too.
I think I could have done much more. I rushed through the shoot which took me about 1 hour. After I shot the red shirt side I left the camera in place and went and shaved and changed clothes.
I didn't really time anything out so I my reactions could have been much better but I think it's fun.
This is the first Team Need For Speed film for 2010. It highlights Patrick Soderlund and the Team Need For Speed FIA GT3 team at the first races of the 2010 GT3 season - Silverstone. We were all eager for the first races on the new Silverstone configuration and first laps of the new BMW Z4 GT3 in competition
