1. Amstel film asked us to create a leader for their new cinema concept 'We Want Cinema'
    WWC is a concept which makes it possible to see classic movies back in the cinema again. This is done by giving the audience the opportunity to choose a film from a large library and promote this along their friends. If you have enough support, it will show in the theatre.

    Together with Interactive Design studio GRRR, Menno Fokma, Heerko Groefsema, and Studio Takt we developed a leader which can be used as a commercial as well. Capturing the ease of use of this online platform, and giving it a lively fresh cinematic feel.

  2. BNN asked us to design and create a leader package for their concept of a new travel program format called, Not So Lonely planet. NSLP was part the TV-lab.

    We throw away our lonely planet guide and travel with social media as our guide. This way you won't see all the things you "should" see, but make use of the experiences of others. See places and meet people you usually only meet by accident ... not from a printed guide.

  3. Animatic/Moving Storyboard of the FITC Amsterdam 2012 Titles. We used some audio snippets to get a rough overall feel on how the mood will differ in all the scenes. After we finished this edit, we had only 2 1/2 weeks left before the actual premiere of the film. We approached a bunch of talented people armed with this movie and a treatment. The styleframes came after this.

  4. We started with the theme of personality in social media at first. After narrowing it down and let it match with FITC we took it into the direction of the creation process. We wanted the viewer to be sucked into the mind of a creative. Show his roller coaster of emotions in his process. We contacted creative writer Tifene Huchet to write the story. She shaped Sam, a man that dreamed about discovering the universe since he was a little boy and is driven by it till this day.

    After creating a moving storyboard and treatment a lot of people became enthusiastic and joined us to fight the deadline (2 1/2 weeks from there on). With guys working from Sweden & Los Angeles, Skype was a real invention! We divided scenes, so everybody could do his own bit. With rendering and compositing done at our studio we could match the final look and created it as a whole. We aimed on creating a film noir look with its typical lighting and be very subtle with adding color.

    Studio Takt did an amazing job (again!). He finished it in only 4 days. We're surprised how he achieved to glue all scenes together smoothly.
