Now fully assembled the piece is now on display at S Bonnie ave and E Del Mar blvd near the City College and Cal Tech in beautiful Pasadena California.
This is an example of a three-dimensional weaving constructed from opposing struts and leaf springs. This Elastic Integrity or Elastegrity structure stacks like blocks and is based on the geometry of Tetrahedron, Hexahedron and Octahedron.
