I was delighted to be asked to shoot the wedding video of one of Ireland’s premier tenors, Paul Byrom to Dominique Coulter, daughter of one of Ireland’s most recognised musicians, Phil Coulter.
Featuring a star-studded guest list including Gordon D’Arcy & Aoife Cogan, Rosanna Davison & Wesley Quirke and Damian McGinty to name but a few, this was sure to be a day to remember.
Dominique arrived in a 1956 white Bentley limousine, dressed in a classic white wedding gown with lace train that was made in Barcelona by Spanish designer Pronovias.
Booterstown Church looked stunning in pink. Riverdance lead vocalist Lynn Hilary sang a ballad, ‘Now They Are One’, specially composed by the father of the bride for her big day.
Then it was on to Rathsallagh House, in Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow. For a wedding videographer Wicklow hosts many stunning locations but Rathsallagh is a favourite venue of mine, offering a relaxed family feel with style and the day progressed splendidly from the drinks reception in the garden to the photoshoot in the orchard. In keeping with the musical theme, guests were treated to the Opera Singing Waiters before guests danced the night away to my very own wedding band, the greatest five piece quartet in the world… The Camembert Quartet!
I’d like to take this opportunity to wish Dominique and Paul all the very best for their future together.
