This lesson has been created for my college students using Photoshop to create slices from the total mockup. These slices are used as individual images when exported so they can be embedded within HTML and CSS documents to create a web page template. I do not encourage my students to use Photoshop to create and design and export a final web page. Proper, tidy code should be created outside of Photoshop. This code then uses the exported slices to create the quality page that does not look like it came from 1995 when designers used code exported from Photoshop.
This video was created for my web design students who use Adobe Dreamweaver. In order to use Dreamweaver so that it functions properly, you must work within a site definition. A site definition also allows you to easily update your files on the server.
This is a tutorial on how to create Photoshop actions and then use them in Bridge to batch images. You can use this tutorial to simply learn how to create and save Photoshop actions. You also learn how to batch images for the Web.
