This is a typiclal night training ride where the peloton can swell to 60+ riders. Most riders are racers of all category & the intensity & speed can reach race level. It's usually 5 laps (30 miles) starting @ 7pm EST & ends @ about 8:20pm. The warm-up lap is slow & easy then the pace picks up to about 15mins a lap. I moved up & down the peloton a lot to show as much action as possible. That was before Contour or GoPro so what I did was I had a handycam in a backpack connected to a lipstick camera that was mounted on the handlebar. The tape was only good for an hour so I didn't get the sprint finish. Nobody knew I was recording the ride.
