Am 1. Mai 1966 wurde P. Luis Gutheinz SJ in der Pfarrkirche von Hsinchen zum Priester geweiht. P. Josef Marx SJ hatte die Pfarrkirche erbaut und eine katholische Gemeinde aufgebaut. Luis Gutheinz SJ hatte hier über zwei Jahre Chinesisch gelernt. So lernte er auch P. Josef Marx näher kennen.
