The International Exchanges Department manages the international activities of IHECS.
Every year, IHECS welcomes dozens of Erasmus students. Likewise, the Institute sends its own students to many partner institutions.
The Erasmus Belgica programme offers mobility opportunities with Flanders, Belgium.
IHECS also supports mobility outside the European Union (Quebec, Africa, Asia, neighbouring countries to the EU, etc.). For that purpose it has its own mobility support fund, the ‘Programme Mercury’.
IHECS European and international cooperation has established many agreements with other teaching institutions or with civil society organisations: European workshops, social communication activities, exchanges on teaching content, European citizenship training, and so on.
IHECS is a partner in several European and international networks: the EJTA (European Journalism Training Association), the Théophraste Network (global federation of French-speaking journalism schools), and the AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie). The Institute also runs Micro-Campus, a European network of student journalism radio stations.
In its communication and information work, IHECS is responsible for activities in consulting, research and European studies, forging close links between theory and practice.
