Sosolimited was asked by HBO to create an interactive window experience for their retail shop in Times Square for the 2009 holidays. We built a snow blowing machine that senses people walking by on the sidewalk and launches snow into the air in response. The installation was developed with the openFrameworks programming API and the physical hardware was controlled using an Arduino. An IR sensor array detects how close pedestrians and window-gazers are, and using mechanical relays, switches on and off fans under the snow in response. A Large LED wall behind the snow is also reactive to street traffic as well. A sliced winter forest scene changes color and moves in response to street traffic. sosolimited.com
Korean people work the longest hours in the world and are always busy. So they consider ‘accessibility’ most when they choose their favorite discount store. And they rarely change the choice. Our mission is that we make people staying far from E-Mart do shopping at E-Mart.
We created a flying store that flies to customers. The e-mart truck shaped balloon, equipped with a Wi-Fi router, that can fly to every corner of Seoul. Customers connected to the Wi-Fi signal using their mobile phones and downloaded coupons. They bought products immediately using the mobile app of E-Mart.
E-Mart sales soared both in on-line and off-line stores to 9.5%. Mobile sales, especially, increased to 157%. The download number of the E-Mart app increased more than 50,000 in the month alone.

Little Boxes is a music box concept for iPad. It consists of a tangible part composed of three separate music boxes that interact with an iPad and an application. When placing one of the boxes on the iPad, it recognizes it and activates. The idea is that each box contains its own universe revealed by the action of the crank with an animation and melody proper to each. The aim is to give a new dimension to the music box, and transcribe visual sensations that don't exist in a standard music box. This work reflects my desire to play with the physical and digital elements by making them interact. It allowed me to embrace different areas, and confront myself with creative and technical challenges. The result is the creation of a world through the music box, where everyone can enter and interact with it. The tracks used for this project are courtesy of the french artist Colleen / Album "Colleen et les boîtes à musique" (http://bit.ly/NfdsLk).
