Welcome to the Essential Emergency Airway Care Course (EEACC)

Goals

This course is designed to teach providers who provide airway care in the ED.

By focusing on common ED situations, it will allow learners to practice their preparation, teamwork, and communication skills. In addition to best practice laryngoscopy, essential practical skills like pre-oxygenation, nasal apnoeic oxygenation, patient positioning, formal airway assessment, and use of the RSI checklist will be emphasized.
Audience

Providers who want to improve their ability to function within the ED airway team-

ED doctors who need to improve and perfect their airway skills
ICU and anaesthetic doctors want to improve their ability to work with the ED team
ED and ICU resuscitation nurses
