Roatan is a small island off the north coast of Honduras. A beautiful, sleepy little place with gorgeous beaches, rum shacks, and some of the best diving in the world. Many a salty dog has gone there never to return home. And after spending two weeks there this past Christmas, I can totally see why.
This is footage of wall diving we did at Roatan. All the footage is from the twilight hours. The dives were shore dives originating from CoCo View resort. Shot with a Canon HF G10 in a Light & Motion housing, with Keldan Luna 8 LA-V CRI lights.
A digitized reel of old 8mm home movies from when my mom and dad were on one of many trips to Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras. I'm relatively sure this is from the mid- to late-1960s. There's also small bits of footage of the coastal mainland and Belize.
