1. My first time-lapse video project! This is a time-lapse of the trees in my backyard that I made by hooking up my DSLR to my Raspberry Pi and running a script that calls GPhoto2 to control the camera. The stills were taken every 60 seconds over a 30 minute time period. I compiled the stills into a video using iMovie on my MacBook.

Next I want to try something a bit more advanced, like connecting a motion sensor to trigger the camera. So many fun things to try! :)

  2. Having a bit of fun with my Raspberry Pi. For anyone interested, I took lesson 12 from the Adafruit site (learn.adafruit.com/adafruits-raspberry-pi-lesson-12-sensing-movement) and altered the script to play a wav file in addition to printing a message on the screen when the motion sensor detects movement. Very helpful for advance warning if you think you might have a Weeping Angel in your home.
