There is two sides to Tenikwa.
Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre - was established with the goal to promote Wildlife Awareness in our area.
Most of the Animals that you will meet when you visit our Awareness Centre have gone through our Rehab Centre . We do Cheetah Walks, And Wild Cat Experiences as well as Photo Tours.

Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre - is a non-profit organisation which relies on public support and Tourists visiting our Awareness centre in The Crags Plettenberg Bay South Africa
Our Rehabilitation Centre accepts and treats injured and abandoned Wild animals from all over the Garden Route, our facility is used extensively by Wildlife Authorities. No fee is ever asked of anyone who brings us an animal to treat. We receive no Government funding or subsidy. There is so much more that needs to be done to secure our Wildlife's future. We need help (funding) for more veterinary care for these animals.
We need to track the Wildlife that we release.
We need to correctly prepare these animals for release.
At the same time we need to grow our Outreach Program to teach more children about our precious vanishing heritage of South Africa.
All this is not possible without Funding.
