A reflection on Modern Britain. Worrying to say the least. Kervin Julien and his colleagues continuing their excellent work with the vulnerable and marginalised of Coventry.

Anesis street ministry, a Christian voluntary organisation was originally founded by two young men from Northpoint Church, Bell Green, Coventry. Their original aim was to reach out on a voluntary basis to help and support the homeless, drug addicted, alcoholic men and women, the needy, money less and lonely people of Coventry.

In this video, Anesis Ministry Director himself a reformed drug addict and dealer talks about the work he and the organisation are involved in, and how you can help to support this organisation.

With first hand accounts of some of the people they help and how lives are transformed. The unexpected reasons for how people arrive at homelessness and onto the street and the people that help them.

The fundamental belief of Anesis is that everyone has a purpose, a destiny, a reason to belong. Some may have forgotten what that is, through the trials and adversity in their lives, but through the love of those who reach out to them, Anesis hopes to help them rediscover their worth.

Showcase of my work

My interest in photography started in an unconventional way with wanting to put something on my wall at home. This then developed in to a keen interest with a HNC qualification at Sandwell College. The body of work produced at Sandwell went on to gain international recognition by winning the My Back Yard 3 competition run by the London Photographic Association in 2007.
My photographic influences are wide ranging but I get most influence from music. My ideas usually develop with some tune in my head. I am interested in documentary work but will take on most photographic challenges. Video and still frame are disciplines that I have started to move into.
