This is the 19th year of the 3100 Mile Race, and including the very first of these long races, the 2700 Mile Race, the field is as strong as ever. This year might be the year that Madhupran's record of just under 42 days falls. Lets see. We still have a long way to go.
So day 2 starts and it rains and rains and rains. And then later more rain. However, Ashprihanal for day 1 logged in the highest single day total (94 miles) in the history of the race! That deserves a wow!!! He took off last year from this race and spent the whole summer climbing "Sri Chinmoy Peace Mountains", everything from simple 'stroll in the park' hills to extremely technical climbs.
