A quick clip of Hastings all-weather lifeboat, the RNLB Sealink Endeavour, launching into thick fog on 13th April 2015 to investigate reports of people in the water off Bexhill. After a careful search of the area, with nothing found, the lifeboat was stood down and returned to station at 2200 hrs
Almost the final part of recovery of the Hastings Allweather Lifeboat is when the Talus drives the boat back into the boathouse. This is just a quick clip of this happening today, 13th September 2015, after a Sunday exercise.
Our boat gets cleaned (special lifeboat shampoo!) and washed off after every exercise and service call. It then gets polished the day after. This is why, despite being 26 years old, it still looks like new and some visitors are surprised when we tell them how old it is.
