+ More

This Channel will feature videos of a social justice or participatory action research nature. Some will focus specifically on homelessness in Regina from the viewpoint of the experts, the homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless themselves. They will also often include current pertinent statistics and findings about homelessness and housing.

Stories from the ground as best authentically heard from various degrees of otherness. They are presented with two goals in mind: 1) to promote awareness, as well as 2) to gain a better understanding of the needs and struggles of Regina's homeless.

These are NOT a documentary films, but rather research presented via an alternative dissemination strategy in an attempt to increase the likelihood of knowledge translation and exchange.

These videos will often complement more traditional research and reports and, without them, should be considered incomplete.

For more information feel free to contact Dr. Marc Spooner, University of Regina, marc.spooner@uregina.ca
