1. Stephen has Autism, and has a history of displaying behaviour that challenges. Living at home with his parents and 2 siblings, his family were able to manage Stephen’s behaviour by implementing Positive Behavioural Support. When Stephen left the family to go to School his behaviour deteriorated and he was sent to a hospital, which has now become his permanent home.

  2. Darren is a recovering heroin addict. Following a stint in prison and several re-lapses back into Heroin, Darren found himself frustrated, angry and at times depressed, which was sometimes displayed through challenging behaviour. Thanks to the commitment and support of "Opportunity Bikes" in York, Darren is being supported to overcome his negative behavioural patterns by being productive and experiencing the pleasure of giving to those more vulnerable than himself.
