A trailer for Matthew Rolston's fine-art book, "Talking Heads: The Vent Haven Portraits," featuring his photographs of ventriloquist dummies from the obscure Vent Haven Museum in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
Celebrated entertainment photographer Matthew Rolston is developing a signature fragrance inspired by his 2008 monograph, "beautyLIGHT." He directed this short film, titled “Elemental Beauty,” to evoke the scents and sensibility of the unisex product. The script for the voiceover is derived from a famous piece called "Beauty and Beauty," by English poet Rupert Brooke, circa 1900.
This short documentary, directed by Neiman Marcus associate creative director Margo Weathers, offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the shoot for Neiman Marcus' "Art of Fashion" 2010 spring fashion campaign. Neiman's commissioned acclaimed photographer Matthew Rolston for the project, which involved 16 sets, one model, and two days, and there are candid interviews here with Matthew, as well as with the talented crew.
Featuring: Matthew Rolston, photographer; Margo Weathers, Neiman Marcus associate creative director; Bradley Garlock, production designer; Karmen Pedaru, model; Mary Catherine Muir, wardrobe stylist; Jun Fanahashi, makeup stylist; and Matthew Williams, hairstylist.
