  2. Non-dairy GF roasted corn and smoked salmon chowder is delicious and easy to make. This chowder can be created for vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians dietary lifestyles.

    8oz smoked salmon
    ½ cup of medium onion chopped
    1 large carrot chopped
    2 stalks of celery sliced
    4 cloves garlic finely minced
    3 sprigs fresh thyme
    1 large russet potato cubed
    2 cups of corn
    ½ cup green pea
    1.5 tbsp potato starch
    2 tbsp cream sherry
    ¼ tsp liquid smoke
    1 cup clam juice
    1 cup veggie, fish or chicken stock
    2 cups coconut milk or coconut cream
    ½ tsp Italian herbs
    1 tsp turmeric
    Pinch saffron
    Pinch of fresh thyme
    Salt
    White pepper
    Cooking oil

    Garnish
    Red Fresno pepper chopped
    2-4 green onions cut on the bias
    Pinch of fresh thyme
