  2. This is my first interaction with the Canon 7D. A friend let me borrow it to do a quick test.

This is by no means a thorough test. I messed with the camera just a few minutes before shooting.

We were in my studio which is very small - so our shooting options were limited to coffee and gear.

    Lens: EF 50mm f/1.4
    ISO: 100
    Video: 1920x1080 30 fps

  3. First test shoot with a Canon HDSLR.

I shot some footage for a short editorial video for a local newspaper with a friend. Here is a quick edit of the footage I shot on the 7D, straight out of the camera. All shot just with the 18-135/3.5-5.6 kit lens on a mono-pod. Music is Elbow-Weather to Fly, live with the BBC orchestra.

  4. Picked up the Canon 7D, testing out the video mode plus my dormant editing interests. I uploaded a fraction of this already, this is basically the same but with some more footage. Song is "It's Natural to be Afraid" by Explosions in the Sky, shot around St. John's plus the southern shore highway, Thanksgiving weekend 2009.

  5. I shot some footage on a crane with the 7d earlier today to test how the motion would look for an upcoming video. I grabbed a bit of extra footage around the stage to play with in color, and threw some of my music under it.

hi, online my last work (shot canon 7d) inspired by "Day of the Dead"

This audio\video and artistic product in the result of the excellent skills of people who support this project and flanked me in the concept and its realization.
I thank Beezy for giving me the complete creative freedom so as to create a concept full of meetle, personality and symbolism. I love communicating through images able to building a story and to leave a mark in people mind. In this videoclip I put a part of my idea to conceive and design creativity; I leave open to interpretation the several messages holden in the videoclip, twofold as the same scenes. On a technical level, everything was realized with a low budget and I am glad of the outcome because I hope it encourages people from every point of view. This is what we can do. Thanks a lot.
The concept of “incidere in fondo” is inspired by the “Dia de los muertos”, the Day of the Death, a typical festivity of Mexican culture and World Heritage.
The woman figure with the face in sugar skull style refers to the Calaveras, candy sugar skull shaped, typical sweets of this festivity. Finally, to all this has been joined the figure of the warrior who refers to the God Odin, God of War, who, in battle, decides the victory and the death of warriors. All these symbols just want to exorcise death, because every single life should be lived through and through, so you have to struggle and making refer to the text without fragility, “qui tocca incidere in fondo”.
