Nee Soon Swamp Forest :

Glistening deep purple, the Royal Assyrian is listed as one of the more uncommon butterflies in Singapore. Nature reserves usually, where its host plants are abundant, are graced with its elegant presence. And it was just our luck too to catch sight of it exhibiting a behaviour that's uncommonly spoken of - fluid recycling. Or to crudely put it: pee-drinking.

Despite that, it was never disgusting, rather I still find it as fascinating as the first time I witnessed it.
