Here is the final version of my class demo model for ZBrushWorkshops.com, summer 2014.
The project started in Zbrush as a maquette sculpt, then was re-topoed in Maya, UVs were laid out in Maya using Raodkillpro, The pose was done in Zbrush and Maya, and the textures were painted in Zbrush. The images above are realtime in Maya viewport 2.0 in Maya 2014. The shaders are all native Maya shaders, no DX11. Along the way, sketches and paint-overs were done in photoshop, sketchbook pro and good ol' pencil and paper.
