An all-immigrant and all-female cast brings new life to the story of the young factory workers who were victims of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company fire in 1911. The performance combines original scenes, devised dance and movement, text from interviews of the survivors sourced from Leon Stein's book "The Triangle Fire", and extracts of the court case that speak for the voiceless victims of yesterday and today's factory disasters. The play serves to critique and explore topics such as the equity of the American dream, the fallacies of capitalist regimes, and the unconditional nature of hope.
