1. Mega Millions needed a new campaign. The client wanted to show the joy of becoming a millionaire without it being too over the top whacky, or showing narcissistic pleasure and greed. We presented several ideas, the simplest one showing the almost immediate effects becoming extremely wealthy. The tag line "All You Need is a Buck And Some Luck" sums up the whole story in a pleasant, lightly humorous manner.

  2. One of the things we'd always wanted to do for Minwax was create a long form piece of communication since their media buy was only for fifteen-second television spots.

    With the "I Did That" campaign we felt we had the opportunity to tell a story of generational pride while spreading the word that wood working was not just for male do-it-yourselfers. So I wrote "The Best Teacher." I didn't want it to be overly saccharine or corny. Is it sentimental? A bit. Is it effective?Absolutely

  3. Over the years wood finishing projects have been stereotyped as a man's hobby, which research has proven is the farthest thing from the truth. This :15 second TV Spot for Minwax features a woman proudly showing the world the dining room table she has just finished with Minwax Stains and Protective Finishes. The "I Did That" campaign we created for Minwax successfully showed that working in wood is a hobby in which anyone can feel pride.

This was the strategy we used to create the latest Minwax campaign. It's all about the pride you have when you complete something you've created with your own two hands, whether it's a bookcase from scratch or in this case a table you've refinished. When it looks this good you have bragging rights.
