1. An older woman's determination to live life to the full.

    Lis defies convention. She acquired an extreme sports habit in her 70s. And at 85 she decided to hold her own wake - whilst still very much alive - so as not to miss out on the party.

    WAKE premiered at the London Short Film Festival 2011 and was one of the winning films in Current TV's Short Cuts competition. The 90-second version of the film won the DepicT! '11 Award at Encounters International Film Festival, the first doc to win in the competition's thirteen year history.

    The film's international premiere was in Stockholm at SAGA International Women's Festival.

    I was responsible for the design and animation of the film, which was achieved in Adobe After Effects.
