  1. Ways of Something”, is a contemporary remake of John Berger’s BBC documentary, “Ways of Seeing” (1972). Compiled by Lorna Mills, the first episode consists of one-minute videos by 30 web-based artists who commonly work with 3D rendering, gifs, film remix, webcam performances, and websites to describe the cacophonous conditions of artmaking after the internet.

  2. To Re-blog

ideas which are disseminated by one
    passed around
    branching and gaining momentum
    until they find a place
    back where they started

the music multiplies then loops back to its starting point

the video shows the infinite scrolling of a site whose main idea is to re-blog
the overload of imagery distorts the originality of the single idea/image

    distorted loops

  4. text2sound + eastward flight over tokyo

Read me is a retro like interpretation of the Fukushima meltdown. The sound is based on a news story about Fukushima, the Ascii value of each character is the base for the audio frequency, the news story became sheet music. Custom software written in C++ played the 'song' with lo-fi oscillator sounds.
The video footage is screengrabbed from Google Earth, a eastward flight over Tokyo, transformed with simple distortion effects and cutted equivalent to the sound.
