In August, Aidan Weaver, our now 18-year-old savant director, started North Carolina School of Arts with a focus in film. Aidan directed this film, Convergence, focused on racial reconciliation. We look forward to a continuing relationship with Aidan, and can't wait to see how the future unfolds for him.
This is Aidan's trailer for Prism, which demonstrates his remarkable ability for visual storytelling. Four detectives discover a revolutionary secret in the aftermath of a mysterious murder. FUSE is privileged to help produce this remarkable film, which will be completed soon.
Fuse joined forces with Alone in the Crowd Production to create this film for the 48-Hour Asheville Film Festival. Aidan won for Best Director. The film also was named Runner-Up Best Film. We also won awards for Best Sound Design and Best Editing. We drew the category Fantasy. Be forewarned: This is a bizarre film.
Aidan worked directly with Fuse to create Convergence and the Asheville 48-Hour Film Festival brought our team together with his. It's been so much fun working with Aidan, and watching him mature as an artist. We have loved our time together and wish him the best as he moves on to the North Carolina School of Arts!
