We briskly hiked, swam, jumped, and climbed into the center of the island as hurricane Ana started to show her face. Our wish was to see these 2,000 foot waterfalls at their finest before conditions got too hectic and making it home was no longer a possibility. We got all we could have wished for and more, I saw things that I can only hope appear in my dreams. Water was falling from the sky in all directions, sliding down mountains, slipping through valleys, enhancing waterfalls, and creating new ones. It was enchanting, taking our eyes off this wonder to make it home before flooding got out of hand became a struggle haha!
Thank you Perrin James and Chelsea Yamase for helping me collect footage!
