Full flight: DJI Inspire 1 flying aggressively at the beach with a Feiyu Tech FY-WG 3-Axis Wearable Gimbal for GoPro (amzn.to/1E4hrGF) attached to the rear via curved GoPro mount. Shot with GoPro HERO4 Black.
The gimbal is a Feiyu Tech FY-WG 3-Axis wearable gimbal for GoPro, and I’m using a GoPro HERO4 Black to record the rear video. I’ve mounted it to the Inspire 1 using a curved helmet extension for GoPro (amzn.to/1PV9O6t).
A single flight over the Holuhraun eruption in the Bardarbunga volcanic system in Iceland on Feb 1, 2015 with two stock DJI Inspire 1 quadcopters. Footage is almost all raw from camera and cuts between the two viewpoints (slight grading on the chase camera in a couple places—it was set to auto exposure, and needed some correction).
Flight by Eric Cheng of DJI (lead camera), and Ferdinand Wolf of Skynamic (chase camera).
More details: In February, Ferdinand Wolf (with Skynamic.net) and I had the great pleasure to heading to Iceland with Good Morning America to live broadcast from the air using DJI Inspire 1 quadcopters (BTS video is here: youtube.com/watch?v=Pav-10YEIEE). During that trip, we also tested prototype Phantom 3 quadcopters with 4K cameras, capturing footage for the Phantom 3 launch, which ended up in most of the promotional videos as well as the video, Fire & Ice (youtube.com/watch?v=IklXmQkynXM). You can also see a short clip showing the Phantom 3 flying over the volcano: vimeo.com/124682124
After the live broadcast rehearsal flight at the Holuhraun eruption at the Bardarbunga volcanic system in Iceland, I shot a little dronie with Ginger Zee, ABC's Chief Meteorologist! Shot with stock DJI Inspire 1; footage uploaded in original format (4K/30).
