We are at the Perkiomen Fire Company and we just had an awesome lesson on fire safety to kick-off Fire Prevention Week.
Perkiomen Fire Company is a volunteer fire department that responds to any type of emergency they are called to. 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you'd like to learn more about fire safety, contact your local firehouse and they will most likely be more than happy to create a program specific for your age group to teach them everything they need to know about fire safety.
Your picture will appear in both the graduation booklet and montage video, which will be played on a huge screen at graduation. We need a high-resolution photo to make you look your best.
WHATS A HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTO you say?
This. Or this. But not this.
Cameras like this, or this, or even this will work great.
You can even get a good shot using a smart phone, but make sure the image resolution is set to it’s maximum. Don’t use the email or social media settings. Those will produce a lo-res, pixely picture.
Webcams are great for Skyping, but not so great for graduation pictures.
If you don’t have a camera of any kind and aren’t having your photo professionally done, consider asking a friend with a camera to help out.
Unless you really know what you are doing, don’t alter the image in any way. Just send it right out of the camera. Don’t worry, we know how to use PhotoShop and will make you look good.
How do you know if your picture is hi resolution? Just click it and view the info. below. If each dimension is 2000 or above, you’re good to go. If not, find a better picture.
If you want, you can submit an additional image just for the video montage. Feel free to be creative with this one. Landscape oriented photos work best, since that’s the shape of the screen.
Next, make sure you rename your picture so we know who you are. Simply:
• Right click the image
• Rename the file with your full name – we’d prefer last name first, like this
• Hit return
Now to upload your picture:
• Click on the link in the survey
• Drag and drop your picture or pictures to the grey box
• CLICK start uploading files
• Wait for the UPLOAD COMPLETE notice
We definitely prefer you use the dropbox, it helps us keep all the pictures in one place, but if you have tech issues you can email your image to firstname.lastname@example.org
Congratulations! You’re done with that part. Now please take a few minutes and fill out the rest of the graduation survey.
