We have some exciting news, hot off the press, about an important development within the work of Missional Generation!
We want to notify you on some changes taking place with the way we deliver Mission Academy. Since the pilot last year, Mission Academy has grown, the teaching has been refined and the Central Team has been blessed with an increase of leaders from across Bradford and Leeds who want to be involved.
Since we advertised Mission Academy as a four-part programme, we now feel this is not the best model of delivery at this time, and have explored other options with youth leaders to determine the best way forward.
A little while back, an online survey was compiled for youth leaders in Leeds, which sought to explore what leaders thought were some of the needs currently facing young people and youth ministry. As part of this survey we discovered that Mission and Culture was an important aspect of discipleship that needed resourcing and young people felt uncertain about engaging missionally with the world they live in. What an encouraging, yet challenging realisation for us to arrive upon.
We are encouraged because I believe Mission Academy could be, for many teenagers, the starting place in addressing these uncertainties and giving them the resources they need.
And so, from November, MA is going local! The team will be bringing this interactive package of missional living and discipleship teaching, and delivering it into the hands of young people.
If you like to get time with a member of the team to explore what this might mean for you and the young people you have, please contact us on email@example.com
We are excited to mention that we are opening up the booking lines for our next mission Academy.
