On Friday 9th January 2015, the Alameda o.n. Triathlon Team was launched at an event in Luxor, Egypt. During the event, it was explained that the team was created around the idea of discovering and supporting young talents from the Arab region to, not just qualify for such races as the Olympic Games or world championships, but to actually win these competitions, one day. Around this idea, the Alameda o.n. Triathlon Team was created, and, with the help of 4 amazing professional triathletes, namely Leanda Cave, Eimear Mullan, Omar Nour and Lawrence Fanous, young triathletes will be nurtured to reach the ultimate goal of becoming amazing champions and future role models.
During the event, an official sponsorship agreement was signed between the Team and the Arab Triathlon Confederation, detailing how the Team will be supporting these young athletes in their development journey.
This video was shown after this introduction to emphasise the message in the words of our athletes, both the pros and the two young athletes who are starting with us.
