The panel - consisting of Sharie Harrold, ISS; Andrew Malarkey, YAW CRC; Dr Libby Brooke, Swinburne University and Dr Sallie Strickland, Empowering Engagements - examine the changing factors that affect
workplaces as it relates to various groups of employees and their changing needs. The panelists also discuss
strategies for workplaces to prepare them for current and future challenges as we seek to a create sustainable workforce.
Keynote speaker, Dr David Goldbloom, Chair of the Mental Health Commission of Canada, addresses the 2013 SuperFriend Symposium. Dr Goldbloom shares his experiences around launching the national voluntary standard for workplaces initiative. Through this world first program the standards for Psychological Health and Safety provides workplaces with access to structures, polices and tools to identify risks in the workplace and respond in a way that is relevant to their unique context and culture.
