I’ve never really used chroma keying before, but it worked surprisingly well, which is promising considering I’m going to need it eventually. The artifacts I did see could easily be fixed with better lighting and perhaps even ironing the green screens before hand (ha). The song featured in this video is Wizard Sleeves by Death by Texas (formerly known as 9" Noahs).
This was basically just to test some settings on my camera. I don’t currently have any software to remove pulldown (boo). Used Magic Bullet Looks. Crush Blue Edge and then Blockbuster. Lighting was terrible, but eh. Features an old demo of Koofed, by the disbanded Random Logic.
Nothing much new here. Just wanted to test out the software on my new computer. The original version took about a week to make due to crashes and sluggishness of my old computer. This took me less than an hour to recreate and it rendered in less than three minutes. Hallelujah. There are a ton of other features, but I mostly wanted to test out Magic Bullet Looks and these are the effects that caught my eye (mostly with default settings). As before, the song is Butt Sex With a T-Rex by Death by Texas.
Experimental test footage with my new Canon Vixia HF S10 HD camcorder. Nothing exciting and I didn’t clean it up at all in post. I’m still editing on an old system and there are a few hiccups, so I might clean it up in a few weeks once I move to the new system. All of it was shot in 24p and the scenes that look soft and dull were shot in Cine mode, which I am growing to dislike. The better looking shots were done in TV mode at 1/48 for the most part. The song is Butt Sex With a T-Rex by Death by Texas (formerly known as 9" Noahs). Doesn’t really go with the video at all, but it’s funny, yes?
