Walk down one hallway and you hear lessons in physics and anatomy. Down the other hallway, you hear a medley of band and orchestra sounds coming through the walls. Hopkins High School has opportunities for every student to pursue their interests and excel academically. This is what a typical day looks like in "The Halls of Hopkins."
Technology integration is nothing new for Hopkins Public Schools. We continuously take the next step to enhance digital learning and support. As part of a 1:1 digital initiative, all Hopkins High School students received a Chromebook at the beginning of the year to assist them in their learning. See how these devices have increased student/teacher collaboration, prompted curiosity in the classroom, and prepared students for post-graduation success.
Orchestra students got to take a break from their classical music in preparation for the annual Spotlight Concert.
Each year students collaborate with a local musician, and this year's concert featured Jeremy Messersmith, an indie-pop singer/songwriter.
