  5. Garrison-Hughes is Eat’n Park’s ad agency. Bill Garrison and Dave Hughes created a unique vehicle to introduce the restaurant’s 4 new gourmet hamburgers. The concept required Przyborski Productions to produce a fashion show, only the featured items on the runway would be burgers, instead of designer clothing. The commercial would be a fun parody of the popular TV show, “Project Runway”.

    Working with Przyborski producer and production coordinator, Judy Gurchak, stylist, Rachel Vallozzi was brought on-board to create individual “looks” for the 4 runway models who represent Eat’n Park servers.

    Director/cinematographer, Glenn Przyborski photographed the food scenes during the studio set & light day using a Canon C100 feeding an Atomos 1080P digital recorder. Food stylist, AnneMarie Leydon worked with Eat’n Park’s Regis Holden and John Frick to insure the new burgers looked great on-camera. Custom made, high-intensity LED panels were used as “strobes” to simulate paparazzi camera flashes.

    Sarah Marince had fun playing the host of the “fashion show”. Przyborski shot most of the scenes with a RED Epic and Canon lenses. Some non-sync cutaways were shot at 96 frames-per-second.

    Working with Garrison-Hughes producer, Nan Quatchak, Ray Tragesser of UpperCut edited the spot. Rob Deaner at Market Street Sound created the original music and mixed the finished commercial.

    Technical Info: Przyborski lit the food scenes with LED soft panels… The primary source was a 12” x 12” milk white plexiglas panel that’s edge lit with dozens of high-output LED’s. The lenses on the Canon C100 were Glenn’s 50mm Canon F2.2 macro & Sigma 28mm EXDG F1.8 macro (Nikon F series, adapted to the Canon EOS mount). The non-compressed 1080P output of the camera was recorded on an Atomos Samauri Blade ProRes422HQ recorder.

    Przyborski used a RED Epic for the live action shoot in order to shoot certain cutaways in slow-motion. Lenses used were a Canon 24-70mm F2.8, Canon 70-200mm F2.8, Canon 50mm F1.2, and a Canon 135mm F2. Incandescent lighting was used for all the live action photography. Ed Letteri was the gaffer on the studio project.
