We’re so proud of our sixth graders who participated in a bullying prevention symposium, which featured personal stories about being bullied and practical solutions for bullying dilemmas - just one way #Ramaz students #LeadByExample. The students felt great showcasing their creative projects, ranging from a public service announcement video to anti-bullying buttons they designed. Check out the video: #1der = One Decision Empowers Reform!
This clip shows our 7th graders participating in a music enrichment workshop with the Manhattan School of Music. The workshops are part of the "Strike a Chord" Music Enrichment program endowed by the Spiro Family in honor of their grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Josh and Ethan Vorchheimer.
Our Chagigat Ha-Siddur (Prayer Book Celebration), a highlight of first grade at Ramaz, occurs in February, when the students receive their first siddurim. In preparation for this important milestone, students work on their own personal siddurim, which they illustrate with expressions of their own connections to the various tefillot.
