Engaging the Church for Disabilities Ministry
Charlie Chastain and Michael Norton
The disabled population of Eastern Europe is one of the most overlooked people groups struggling to find its way within post-Soviet society. Beyond their physical and mental impairments, the disabled of Eastern Europe also struggle to overcome discrimination due to misunderstanding and misinformation within the community, often resulting in neglect. This workshop seeks to engage the Body of Christ by offering a more clear and accurate understanding of disabled individuals and providing concrete strategies in changing hearts and opening doors within the Church to our precious Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
